Upon completion of the course trainees will:

(i)              be able to explain basic concept in detergent making;

(ii)             be familiar with various techniques of detergent making;

be able to apply various techniques in detergent making

Upon completion of the course trainees will:

(i)          be able to explain basic concept in Techniques of tie & dye;

(ii)         be familiar with various techniques of tie & dye;

(iii)        be able to apply various techniques in tie and dye clothing for men and women.



At the end of the course student will be able to

(i)          Understanding basic Concepts and features of STATA (1 week, 5 hours)

(ii)         Inferential statistics (Parametric analysis: e.g. Correlation and Regression Analysis, T-tests, ANOVA, MANOVA and post-hoc tests, Pearson product moment correlation) ( 4 weeks, 20 hours)

(iii)        Non-parametric tests: e.g. Chi-square tests, Wilcoxon rank-sum test, 1-sample sign test, Friedman test, Goodman Kruska's Gamma, Kruskal-Wallis test, Mann-Kendall trend test, Mann-Whitney test,  Mood's median test, Spearman rank correlation (3 weeks, 15 hours).

(iv)       Presentation of data: Creating, modifying and exporting graphs/diagrams, Bar charts, pie charts, scatter plots, line, histogram, QQ/PP-Plot,etc, Exporting graphs and Frequencies: (2 weeks, 10 hours)

                                             Total 10 weeks (50 hours)


Main Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the course trainees will:

(i)          be able to explain basic concept in SPSS;

(ii)         be familiar with various principles of SPSS;

(iii)         be able to apply SPSS in quantitative data analysis.
